Everything you need to know about Zone fitness testing


How do I prepare for a Fitness Test or Assessment?

There is nothing specific you need to do before participating in our Zone Fitness Tests. Try to rest for  a couple of hours before participating so you can put your all into the test and get the best results possible. Try not to eat a heavy meal just before performing a test, this could make you feel sluggish and full and slow you down. Never take part in a fitness test if you are feeling unwell, this will effect your results and make you feel worse!

Do I have to pay extra for your Fitness Tests?

No! Our Zone In Class Testing is included in every membership with no extra cost. All assessments are completely voluntary.

How long do the In Class Testing sessions last?

Normally about 20 – 30 Minutes depending on how many people are taking part.

Can I Pass or Fail?

No, there is no pass or fail for any of our Fitness Tests – all results are confidential and are only used to help you get the most from your training.

Who will explain my results to me?

Our team of expert Zone Trainers will help you analyze and review your fitness test results. We are on hand at any time to help you interpret your results and how these may effect your goals.
